Facial Exercises to Get Rid of Puffy and Baggy Eyes

Everyone has had one of those days where they wake up to puffy, swollen, baggy eyes. Some people experience that every day, and for an unfortunate few, those purple bags hang around all day! Although a good cover-up can conceal the dark color of under-eye bags, it can’t conceal the swelling, and most men would rather not start buying makeup to cover up their swollen eyes.Under Eye Moisturizer

Eyes can become puffy and baggy for many reasons. Certain medical conditions make it more likely that an individual will suffer from dark bags under the eyes, and genetics also plays a role. Those with lighter skin will find that their under-eye bags are more noticeable than those of darker-skinned people.  A lack of sleep contributes to bags and puffiness, and consuming too much sodium, especially if you do not get enough water to drink, can contribute to swelling under the eyes as well as elsewhere in the body.

If you want to prevent and reduce the appearance of under-eye bags and puffiness, you can save the cucumber slices for a salad because there are simple facial exercises that can do the trick! Always be cautious when performing facial exercises, because when they are done incorrectly, they can actually cause more wrinkles. Any facial exercise that prompts you to do a motion that causes your skin to wrinkle anywhere should be avoided. Why do an exercise that decreases eye puffiness if it’s going to give you fine lines on your forehead?

“Dreaming”

In these exercises, you will look like you’re dreaming to anyone watching you, because your eyes will be moving under your closed lids! First, close your eyes. Be very relaxed: don’t close your eyes too tightly. While your eyes are closed, look as far up as you can, and then as far down as you can. Repeat this facial exercise to prevent puffy eyes ten times.

Next, move your eyes under your closed lids to look as far right as you can, then as far left as you can. Repeat this facial exercise ten times also. Under your closed lids, move your eyes in clockwise circles. Make these circles as large as you can. Once you complete ten circles, switch direction and perform ten counter-clockwise circles.

“Zombie Stare”

To do the “Zombie Stare” correctly, it is recommended that you do it in front of a mirror. You must open your eyes as widely as you can without causing your forehead to wrinkle up. Hold this position for ten seconds, and repeat five times each day.

In the above exercises, the movement of your eyeballs encourages the drainage of any fluid that might be accumulating in the eye area and causing puffiness. Since deoxygenated blood (old blood that doesn’t have much oxygen left in it for your cells to use) causes that purple color, getting things moving in the eye area can improve circulation and reduce the dark appearance of under-eye bags.

It is also possible to use your fingers to massage the area and encourage circulation and lymph drainage. Whenever you are massaging delicate facial skin, it is important to use massage oil specially formulated for use on the face (body massage oils clog pores and cause acne when used on the face) or an anti-aging or anti-wrinkle cream. If you try to perform these massage techniques on dry skin, there will be too much friction, and tugging and pulling will result. This can encourage skin damage and wrinkling. LifeCell cream is recommended for people who are experiencing serious signs of aging around the eyes, as it uses light reflection technology to instantly camouflage flaws while its high quality ingredients go to work to reverse signs of aging.

Under-Eye Massage

Put a small amount of facial massage oil or anti-aging cream on your ring finger. Be careful not to get any cream into your eye as you start under the eye’s inner corner and massage towards the outer corner with small, gentle circles. Once you reach the area under the outer corner, work your way back again with the same gentle circles. Do this for at least two minutes per eye, per day. If the bags under your eyes are quite large, be sure to massage farther down. Some people need to massage all the way down to their cheekbones. As an added bonus, this massage helps to clear congested sinuses.

Facial exercises work as a good alternative to pricier medical procedures. Taking years off of your appearance is something that can be done with a little time, effort and care. An excellent skin care regimen including daily sunscreen application is a must if you want to delay signs of aging.

If appearance is not what worries you about getting older, you’re not alone. Many people are more worried about other signs of aging, such as aches and pains, reduced energy, the extra time it takes them to recover from workouts or injuries, and a low libido. Facial exercises won’t cure those symptoms of aging! That’s why many people are turning to HGH (human growth hormone) supplementation. HGH has been shown to turn back the clock on all those other signs of aging that surgery can’t fix! As you age, your body produces less of its own HGH, and aging symptoms appear. Most patients report that these symptoms lower their quality of life significantly; which is why they choose to treat them with HGH precursors.

HGH precursors are supplements containing amino acids that your body needs to produce more of its own HGH. In the proper ratios and concentrations, these amino acids literally turn back the clock on your aging symptoms. Products such as GHR1000, Genfx, Provacyl and Genf20 Plus have great reputations, and come with a money-back guarantee. These types of HGH supplements are a great way to see if HGH treatment will have the same benefit for you as it has for thousands of other people. No matter which anti-aging treatment you decide to try, remember that doing proper research will save you from throwing your money away or trying something potentially dangerous. I’ll update you guys what’ll happen to my puffy eyes.

  3. it’s good to know that I can resort to something as c heap as facial exercises to enjoy the skin that I wanted. I just like to know how many repetitions would it take for me to see any result? My skin care products says it in the label that recognizable results will come forward after two weeks of use. How long should I do facial exercises to make any difference on how I look now?
