How to Have a Healthy Penis

According to Steven Lamm, MD who is the assistant professor in the Medicine Dept. Male Reproductive Systemat the New York University, A man that is 50 years of age and healthy can likely perform as well as a 30 year old man that is out of shape, drinks and smokes.

In order for a man to have a hard erection there must be a good blood flow. Many things can interfere with this happening. It can be related to stress, depression, alcohol, drugs, being overweight, being out of shape, a poor relationship, and the list goes on. Bottom line – your penis isn’t working for you like it used to.

Thankfully, there are many things you can do to make sure you have a healthy penis that’s working well. In fact, it’s not uncommon to have sex well into your 80s – that should put a smile on your face. Let’s look at things you can do.

#1 Quit Smoking

If you smoke – now is the perfect time to stop. When you smoke it causes your blood vessel to clench and that restricts blood flow and leads to erections that are weaker and not as firm. It also causes plaque to buildup in your arteries, which can lead to erectile dysfunction. If you must smoke, consider the electronic cigarettes that are the “rage” right now. Best solution is to simply quit.

#2 Lose Extra Weight

If you are overweight, especially if you are packing around a belly like many men, then it’s time to drop those extra pounds and get healthy. This extra fat that you are carrying around blocks testosterone, which you need to function sexually. If you have a big stomach that’s a definite negative marker about your health and that includes your sexual health. Think of your penis as the gauge that measures how healthy your heart is and the condition of your arteries.

#3 Have You Checked Your Balls Today?

Just as women need to do a breast self exam, men need to a ball self examine. Every year there are more than 8000 men under the age of 40 and as young as 15 that are diagnosed with testicular cancer. If it is caught early, it has a 95% cure rate. However, if it goes undetected it can spread to other parts of your body. Dr. Larry Lipshultz who is the doctor in charge of male reproductive medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine says that men should check their balls once a month. Here are the steps that Dr. Larry Lipshulz recommends.

Step 1. When you are in a hot shower, your muscles relax. The muscles that pull your testicles up into your scrotum also relax and that will let you handle easier.

Step 2. Cup your scrotum and then feel both of your testicles at the same time. It is okay if they are not identical, but there should never be a huge difference in size.

Step 3. Lastly, you need to examine each testicle individually using both of your hands. Place your thumbs on top of a testicle and your index and middle fingers underneath. Then you need to roll your testicle between your fingers covering the entire surface with just a light pressure. You are feeling for any unusual bumps or lumps. Your testicles should be smooth. If you feel something, it is important not to panic. Epididymis, which is a soft bump located in the back of your testicles, is often mistaken for a lump. If you feel anything you are unsure of you should always see your doctor.

HGH Supplements and Their Role in a Healthy Penis

You may have already heard about HGH and its role in staying young. An HGH supplement like Genf20 Plus or Sytropin helps your pituitary gland to produce more human growth hormone, which in turn leads to the production of more testosterone and other hormones. As a result, you can find your sex drive increase exponentially and that in turn can lead to a better erection.

An increase in HGH can have many benefits, which you can review here. Sexual health is important and having a healthy penis is part of that. You wouldn’t ignore the health of your heart would you? So why ignore the health of your penis?
