HGH Injection Vs Anabolic Steroids In Bodybuilding

Are HGH injections better than Anabolic seteroids? Is it true that combining both gives much better results especially when it comes to quick recovery after injury or intensive workouts?

From my understanding, HGH has anabolic activity in the body. So, since it has a similar (although not identical) effect to anabolic steroids, they would probably reinforce each other--but of course that would up your chances of suffering side effects, as well.
Hopefully someone with more experience taking one or the other could weigh in on this topic.
