If you are buying HGH from an underground lab, or online there’s only one-way to tell if it’s real HGH, that’s through blood work. Since so many companies produce HGH, it is difficult to determine fake from real. Even when they provide all the information such as manufacturer guarantees, serial numbers, and pictures of the produce it can be difficult to tell fake HGH from real HGH.

There are many fake HGH products on the market. Some sites claim to sell some of the big brands, such as Norditropin, Genotropin or Saizen, but what they are actually selling is fake products disguised as name brand products. Low quality or fake HGH can result in serious long-term health problems, which is a good reason to make sure that you are getting the real thing. Other products that are believed to have had their names used to sell fake products include Getropin, Nomatropin, and Somatohorm. Kigtropin, Hygetropin, Blue top, and the list goes on. There are all kinds of fake HGH products on the market, claiming to be the ‘real thing,’ and you need to make sure that you are aware of what you are buying and that the HGH product it claims to be is really what it is.

How to Ensure You Are Taking Real HGH not Counterfeit or Fake HGH

  1. Start by doing your research! Never rely on what you read on discussion posts, wikis, blogs, or websites. Talk to an expert in the field or your physician before you purchasing HGH.
  2. Talk to athletes, go to a gym or you can sign up on a bodybuilding website. Serious muscle guys should know what’s real or fake. They also know a lot about doses, prices, and HGH pros and cons. Don’t be afraid to pick their brains, and see what they think.
  3. Listen to instincts! If you order HGH online from a pharmaceutical company that you know is legit, stick with them. Don’t change where you order from, or buy from an acquaintance, or because you saw a great ad that sounded really good (sometimes a good deal isn’t always a good deal). It is hard to find people and companies that you can trust relating to your HGH purchases, so if you have someone legit, and you know that you are getting the real thing rather than something fake, stick with it.
  4. Compare your product with other products online! Check the bottles, serial numbers, expiration dates, company, the bottle top colors, etc. A lot of companies are manufacturing fake HGH that looks like the real thing but there is no HGH inside the bottle.
  5. Get tested! Go to a reputable lab and have your blood tested. Without insurance, it’s going to cost you somewhere between $50 and $100 to be tested. To get this test done, you have to do 10 iu’s intramuscular and then wait 3 hours to draw blood. There are many lab companies out there, so shop around and see, which one is covered by your insurance so call around to ensure they do the testing you need and that they take your insurance. You can also go online to check resources. This is the best way to see if your HGH is fake or real!
  6. If you discover you’ve been duped you might even want to go further with this. Report the website, or company selling fake HGH! The more bad press they get the better. Get the word out. The more people that speak up the more likely they will eventually closed down. Share what you’ve learned by posting on sites about the fake HGH.

HGH Serum Test

A simpler and cheaper test, which most labs can do, is to have your blood tested for HGH serum before you inject growth hormone. Then after, take 4IU of HGH and 3 hours later repeat the same HGH blood serum test. If your product is real, your second results should have a significant increase in serum level. Some manufacturers reimburse you for this test if you send them the lab results. So be sure to ask.

GH Serum Test Result Inconsistencies

There are many factors that HGH serum levels depend on and they are inconsistent from one test to another. These factors include dosage, injection timing, diet, potential immune response, current level of the amino acid, which is the enzyme responsible for HGH degradation, etc.

This is why you aren’t likely to get the same HGH results twice. The results confirm that the injected growth hormone is authentic but it will not confirm the quality or quantity of HGH

IGF-1 Test

The level of IGF-1 and HGH in the body correlate tightly. Injecting growth hormone raises one’s IGF-1 levels along with the HGH levels. Elevated IGF-1 levels are a good indicator of HGH that is authentic. The IGF-1 test is performed the same way as the HGH serum test.

Is It True That You can Use a Home Pregnancy Test To Tell if HGH is Real?

The pregnancy test is good for determining if the substance is HCG is found in the urine of pregnant women. In the old days HGH was prohibitively expensive, and so only a handful of manufacturers who produced HGH. Scammers would use HCG to trick people, because it looks just like HGH. The only difference is when you add water to the vial; HCG will completely dissolve in seconds, whereas real HGH leaves a few lumps of powder floating around for several minutes before it dissolves.

Today, growth hormone is readily available through a number of manufacturers so HCG is no longer used. So the pregnancy test doesn’t work to identify fake HGH any longer.

The Health Risk of Fake HGH

Today scammers print the packaging of reputable brands and fill them with vials of an HGH mimic. They often use 192 amino acid sequence molecule that functions in the same way as the real 191 amino acid sequence HGH, but it causes an immune reaction when your body detects it is foreign. This causes red painful welts where the injection went and it has the potential to cause serious health problems if your immune system develops a defense against the real, 191 amino acid HGH, which can leave you with no HGH at all. In fact, your body will have an allergic reaction to its own production of HGH. For info on how to get safe HGH products read more here!
