How Fast Should You Lose Weight?

Many people who are trying to lose weight get discouraged if they don't see results quickly. The truth is "diets" don't work. Sometimes you lose some weight, and sometimes you even lose a lot--but once you go off the diet you usually end up piling it all back on. Most doctors and registered nutritionists recommend losing 1-2 lbs a week, and agree that losing more than 3lbs a week is probably too much to be considered healthy. When losing weight, you should focus on making lifestyle changes that you can maintain for the rest of your life, rather than trying to starve yourself in order to look a certain way or hit a certain number on the scale faster.
Of course there are natural supplements out there that can help with weight loss, without cutting calories too much. HGH supplements can be a big help.

I agree with rraw it never seems like enough. But there are many supplements out there that actually rev up your metabolism, making your burn more calories in a day so that a sensible diet and exercise routine will make the weight come off faster than 1-2 lbs per week. That can help speed things up without starving or getting on a treadmill for hours everyday.

There is actually a great type of exercise called sprint 8 it is designed to stimulate the natural production of HGH through intensive intermittent exercise.

Tell us more about sprint 8 lukewalker. It sounds interesting and if it could help burn some extra fat, I'm all in. I know 2 pounds per week is considered healthy when on a weight loss plan, but I think that figure might be dated now as we have a multitude of good supplements out there that can help our bodies achieve the weight loss we want while still functioning properly.

If you work our hard enough and still keep your body nutritionally healthy, you should be able to safely lose 4 pounds per week. That was from a registered nutritionist and Dr. Oz.
