#15709 Don't give up on your dreams of health and wellness, including a healthy weight. Sometimes, due to mistakes in our youth, we find ourselves heavily overweight. You may wonder why your skinny friends can lose several pounds in a week if they cut out one "junk food" whereas you can eat nothing but vegetables and drink nothing but water and still struggle to lose one pound (or even less!) a week.
Well, it does get harder to lose weight the fatter you get. Extra fat does change the chemistry of your body, and most of those changes make it harder to lose weight. Insulin resistance can result from obesity, and an obese body produces less HGH. No matter what the reason for obesity in the first place, it is a good bet that an obese body is producing less of the hormones needed to burn fat.
This doesn't mean that you need to live with being obese for the rest of your life! In order to jump-start your body, you may just need a little help. There are many prescription weight-loss drugs out there, and HGH can also help you reverse the chemical changes that are making it hard for you to lose weight.

#15979 This is quite correct! Fat is metabolically active, and stimulates the production of estrogen, among other things. Higher estrogen levels promote cravings (especially for carbs) and even more fat storage! It is an uphill battle, and takes a lot of willpower and endurance to overcome obesity.
