My daughter went through a phase were her face broken out a lot. Her acne is gone, though now she is left with many acne scars.

There are many scar lightening creams that work over time to reduce the appearance of scarring. These creams will save your daughter from the risk and expense involved with surgical procedures. One that I have seen talked about on here is LifeCell. I think there is a review on this forum or site here somewhere.

Hey, you can even get stuff that works for this just at a regular pharmacy. I know one girl whose acne scars were so bad her parents got her a chemical peel for her 18th birthday, and that did help a lot, but it's risky. The doctor talked to her for hours about all the bad possibilities! She was lucky though, and her face looked good after.
