Brazil Predicted to Win World Cup 2014 With Cristiano Ronaldo to be Top Player

Who will win The 2014 World Cup?

When it comes to predictions and the World Cup that’s being held in Brazil in 2014, there’s certainly no shortage. Edwin van der Sar, a former Dutch keeper who won 130 caps for the Dutch, recently predicted that Brazil will take the 2014 World Cup and Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Portugal will be the top scorer. What do you think the outcome will be?Fifa World Cup

According to Van der Sar, Brazil will have no problem adapting to the conditions. In fact, they’ll be ready to handle the conditions far better than the competing teams, which puts them in a position to be the World Cup winners and also makes them the favorite choice for the win by spectators. While Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t play for Brazil, but rather for Portugal, it is believed he will be the ‘star’ this year and Joe Hart is thought to be ready to prove himself as a world-class player.

Luiz Felipe Scolari and the rest of the Brazil team are in search of winning their 6th World Cup. Of course, they have the advantage of playing on their home field. It really does look like Brazil is going to be the team to beat. They are already comfortable with the weather – the warmth and the humidity, which most people have trouble adapting to.

The problem is Brazil has so many good players that they can actually put together a few teams to participate in the World Cup. That just makes it that much tougher for outsiders to get to the finals and try to win this thing. Maybe a European team might have a shot, but to date no European team has ever won the World Cup in the Western Hemisphere. More and more people are thinking Brazil’s going to take it ‘hands down.’

Who will Be The Best Player In The Brazil World cup

Cristiano Ronaldo has a strong football history. He played for Manchester earlier on giving other teams a real run for their money. Its believed time has tweaked those top-notch skills even more and this year’s teams have a real battle on their hands with Portugal’s Ronaldo.

We mustn’t forget about England’s Joe Hart who has shown himself to be a fierce player. Even with the troubles he faced earlier in the season, most think he has a long and successful career in front of him.

Van der Sar added: ‘I think sometimes it is not bad to have a period that you are making mistakes and maybe you are on the bench for a couple of games.

Hart is only 27 so his career is in the early phases and generally a goalkeeper just keeps getting better and better the more he plays, so there’s no doubt that we are going to see significant improvements from this young man over time. The bit of trouble he had earlier in this season will likely straighten itself out. With the right motivation and captain, his hunger will return. He’ll learn from his mistakes like most of us do and move on.

Born in Madeira, this is also where Cristiano Ronaldo mastered his football skills. He was playing for the local Nacional team early on and by age 12, he had already made a name for himself. Gerald Houllier, the Liverpool manager, had his eyes on him at age 16, choosing not to sign him because they felt he was too young. Ronaldo became the first Portuguse to play on the Manchester United team, where he requested the #28 for his jersey fearing he couldn’t possibly live up the history of the #7 jersey worn by players like David Beckham.

Between 2006 and 2008, Ronaldo faced a lot of controversy. In the 2006 World Cup, Cristiano’s sportsmanship came under fire and he faced many accusations. However, it did not take too long before the fans began to once again accept Cristiano. In 2007, Cristiano took a number of awards including PFA Player of the Year, PFA Young Player of the Year, PFA Fans’ Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, Portuguese Footballer of the Year, Manchester United’s Players’ Player of the Year and Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year.

In 2008, Cristiano earned the PFA Player Of The Year Award for the second time running. That same year, Cristiano Ronaldo also had to deal with all of the controversy surrounding his club transfer to the Spanish giants, Real Madrid. Eventually, he decided to stay with Manchester United and he was quick to stress to his fans that he had no intentions of leaving Manchester United.

Cristiano has also come under scrutiny for the use of HGH or human growth hormone. I guess the question by many isn’t if he took it, but why wouldn’t he take it. In the past, many pro athletes did use HGH although today it is banned in most sports. The thing is HGH has been shown to help injury recovery and to keep these guys on top of their game, recovering faster. A quick search and you’ll quickly find out the truth doesn’t seem to easily found… it’s rather a mystery.

But what we do know and what many are predicting is that while Brazil will take the World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo  and  his team mates are going to go kicking and screaming into the 2014 games and trying very hard to take home a World Cup – now we wait and see if those predictions come true.
