Turn Back the Clock with GABA

In recent years, we have become increasingly aware that the use of human growth hormone, or HGH, is useful in slowing, stopping, and sometimes even reversing the signs of aging.  A naturally occurring substance, the release of HGH from the pituitary gland in young people is what stimulates growth.  Once we are done growing, our bodies’ production and release of these hormones slows and eventually stops altogether.  This is what causes the onset of so many signs of aging that we all experience:  an increase in body fat, a decrease in lean body mass, wrinkles and a loss of elasticity in our skin, a loss of energy, a decrease in the quality of sleep, and even our gradual memory loss.

Synthetic human growth hormone has been developed in injection form that some individuals have found to be helpful in slowing down this outwardly visible aging process.  However, a safer and equally productive means of increasing the amount of HGH in your system is through the use of GABA.  GABA is an abbreviation for gamma-amino butyric acid, a naturally occurring non essential amino acid found in large amounts in the hypothalamus.  The hypothalamus is the center in the brain that controls the pituitary gland where HGH is naturally produced and released.  GABA is also found in beans, dairy products, eggs, and other foods.

Scientists have now shown that using GABA in pill form will stimulate the pituitary gland to produce and release HGH naturally.  Utilizing a naturally created substance to stimulate the production and release of another naturally occurring substance is definitely safer than injecting a synthetic version of HGH into the body.

The Benefits Of GABA

The benefits of using GABA as a dietary supplement are many.  First, because it affects the central nervous system directly, it can act as a receptor for stress and anxiety.  This makes it potentially beneficial for those suffering from seizure disorders, headaches, depression, and attention deficit disorder.  Also because of this function, GABA can prevent wrinkles from pinched, drawn skin before they even start by preventing the anxiety issues that can cause them.  Because GABA has proven so effective in suppressing the minute spasms and movements that lead to wrinkles, it is available in wrinkle creams for topical use as well as in an ingestible pill.

Additionally, as GABA encourages the pituitary body to produce and secrete HGH, it can lead to loss of body fat, a gain of lean body mass, clearer skin with greater elasticity, and even improved memory and increased energy.  Those who take GABA regularly also report a marked improvement in their sleep cycles.  This is not a miracle drug that promises results overnight, which, of course, would be promises that could not be met.  GABA does, however, offer proven results over time that will help you look and feel years younger than you are.  It is a safe, natural way to get the results you desire.

Side Effects OF GABA

GABA is available in the form of creams, bodybuilding supplements, and pills, as well as via IV in some cases.  Because GABA naturally exists in the human body and in some foods, it causes very few potential side effects.  However, even when ingested in food, it does harbor some risk in a few individuals.  If you are taking GABA in one of these forms, you may experience marked drowsiness; this is the most common side effect, given its interaction with the central nervous system and its ability to suppress anxiety and stress.  Additionally, some individuals may also experience skin hives or a rash, a tingling sensation in the extremities, or lightheadedness.  These effects generally are short lived.  However, if you experience chest pains, tightness in the chest, or difficulty breathing, you should stop taking GABA right away and seek medical attention.  It may be due to an allergy to the substance.

Who Is a Prime Candidate for GABA?

GABA is safe for most adults, although women who are pregnant or nursing, those with kidney or liver disease, and those who have had marked allergic reactions to GABA should not use it.  All others will benefit from using this amino acid to reverse physical and mental signs of aging, to improve their physical workout and see quicker results, and to gain improved memory capacity and get a better night’s sleep.

Body builders who use a GABA supplement find that they are able to lose body fat and build their lean body mass more quickly and efficiently.  Safer than synthetic supplements, GABA helps them get the results they desire without endangering their health or their lives.  Body builders who have used GABA also report heightened focus and ambition, possibly leading to a more meaningful workout as well.

The natural inhibition of stress, anxiety, and muscle spasms makes GABA an ideal supplement for those who wish to avoid wrinkles and who want to keep the natural glow to their skin that they enjoyed in youth.  Not only will the natural stress inhibitors keep your skin from showing signs of anxiety, but it will also aid in ensuring a good night’s sleep, which, in turn, will lead to even younger looking skin.

GABA and HGH

Human Growth Hormone is a complex hormone, made up of 191 different amino acids.  It is expensive and complicated to duplicate and is most effective in its natural form.  All natural GABA enhances our bodies’ production of this hormone naturally so that we enjoy the full effect of its presence.  In addition to the results gained from the effect of GABA on the central nervous system, the results gained from a renewed production of natural HGH in the system will make you feel more focused, give you more energy, and improve your overall health.

When used as directed, GABA will work with your body to improve your health, your well being, and your ability to function, and will make you look and feel years younger than you are.  It will improve your focus and memory, as well as slow down or reverse your outward signs of aging as well.

  1. By ingesting larger than normal amounts of gaba, would we be making our own supplies dwindle as the body feels that it doesn’t need to do the extra work any more?
